Our certified swimming instructors will teach your children to be confident and safe swimmers. A low student/teacher ratio ensures that each child receives focus and attention at every session. Participants are grouped according to age and ability. All classes are taught by certified instructors. Programs are available for ages 6 months–14 years.

Important Information
Program offerings, class times and session lengths vary. Contact the swim lesson manager at your club for current offerings. Classes are 30 minutes, except stroke and turn classes, which are 45. Price varies by length of session. We also offer swim birthday parties. See the Birthday Parties section for more details.

Private Swim Lessons:  Private lessons allow students to learn to swim at their own pace. Available for beginner through competitive swimmers. Semi-private lessons also offered.

Preschool Swim:  Ages 3–5. First-time swimmers or children who are timid around water will feel safe and comfortable in this class as they learn basic kicking and floating skills, arm strokes and how to submerge their face.


Advanced Beginner Swim:    Ages vary. Children who are comfortable swimming 5–10 yards on their own will learn how to coordinate stroke, kick and breathing techniques for various strokes.

Beginner Swim:    Ages 4–6. Perfect for children who have some experience in the water but could benefit from repetition of basic skills. A child attending this class should be able to submerge his face in the water.

Beginner Swim for Older Child:    Ages 6–10. Same as the Beginner above but with a focus on the needs of an older child who is learning the basics. A child who completes this class will be able to swim 5–10 yards using a freestyle stroke and float independently.

Intermediate Swim:    Ages vary. Children who can already swim half-lengths of the pool with good technique will learn more advanced skills such as bilateral breathing, scissor kicks and others.

Sports and Swim:    Ages 3-6. This option is one and a half hours of combined fun: 45-minutes of All Star Sports and 30-minutes of swim instruction. Children experience a new sport each week such as t-ball, hockey, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, racquet sports, flag football and track and field. The fun and learning continues in an age and skill appropriate swim class.

Stroke and Turn:    Ages vary. This class teaches advanced techniques and builds endurance for swim competition.

Swim Team Conditioning:    Ages vary. This class is structured like a swim team practice. It strengthens advanced techniques and builds endurance for swim competition.

Water Tot with Parent :    Ages 6–36 months. Tots learn early swimming skills in the secure arms of mom or dad. Circle time activities and songs make it fun as tots try bubble blowing, kicking and floating.
