SilverSneakers Class Descriptions

The signature SilverSneakers classes are designed specifically to help Medicare eligible individuals (65 and older) improve overall fitness. All classes are lead by certified instructors and are appropriate for all fitness levels.

Crank Up The Cardio:    A seated, non-impact aerobic class offering a safe and fun workout using basic rhythmic movements for the upper and lower body.

Forever Fit:    This seated conditioning class improves balance, posture, agility and coordination.

Prime Time Cardio:    This low-impact, cardio workout is followed by strength conditioning exercises tailored to mature adults.

Prime Time Conditioning:    This is a strength conditioning class expressly designed for mature adults.

SilverSneakers®:    A seated conditioning class that improves balance, posture, agility and coordination. Enrollment is limited.

SilverSneakers® I-MSRM:    Muscular Strength & Range of Movement. Have fun and move to the music while doing various exercises designed to increase strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and physio balls provide resistance. Chairs are used for support.

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash®:    To keep your workouts fun, just add water. SilverSplash improves agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. You never leave the shallow water so swimming is not required. A special kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.

SilverSneakers® YogaStretch:    Move your whole body through a series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chairs provide support for various postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Breathing exercises and a relaxation period reduce stress and improve mental clarity.

SilverSneakers®-Cardio Circuit:    This standing circuit workout combines fitness with fun to boost your cardio and muscular endurance. Upper body strength work using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and physio balls is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. Chairs are used for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
