Kristin Fisher, WSC Glover Park, Master Trainer
"My style is customized to your needs. If you need to vent, I’m there to listen. If you need a drill sergeant, I’m there to count your pushups."
Why did Kristin become a Personal Trainer/instructor?
"I love sports and being athletic. I love working with people to better their lives. The solution was to become a Personal Trainer. I have gotten to know so many interesting people and that's all you can hope for in life: the opportunity to meet some great people along the way."
What her clients get out of it:
Comfort - She makes her clients feel comfortable in a gym setting where many people are afraid and unsure of themselves.
Knowledge – Kristin is also an educator to her clients. She doesn't just tell them what to do, she shows them how and the benefits of what they’re doing.
Motivation – In a non-drill sergeant way. But don’t think for one second she’s going to go easy on them either. She gives her clients that extra push when they need it and making them want to motivate themselves.
Her favorite workout routine:
"A run in the park where I stop every 5 minutes and complete a strength circuit of abs/pushups/squats/dips. It keeps you moving and gives you that cardio aspect but builds strength at the same time."
Her fave body part:
"I focus on keeping a toned upper body so I feel strong and look strong. There's something about being able to do 30 real pushups in a row that is invigorating!"
How she would keep you motivated and having fun:
"I’d throw in some boxing and fun exercises that allow my clients to be kids again."
