The Fourth Annual Boston Marine Corps Honor Run is scheduled for 10:00am Sunday, September 25, 2005, in Milton’s Blue Hills Reservation. Held in cooperation with the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation and the Semper Fidelis Society of Boston, this race offers a challenging and rewarding 5K and 10K course.

Formed in 1995 by former Marines and law enforcement personnel, the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation has awarded over 3 million dollars in scholarships and bonds to children of Marine Corps and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The Honor Run aims to raise awareness for this great work and to recognize the sacrifices of our nation’s men and women in uniform.

Race Day Schedule – Sunday, September 25, 2005

• 7:30am – 9:15am: Number pick-up and on-site registration
• 9:15am: Pre-race warm up led by a Boston Sports Clubs fitness instructor and a Marine Corps drill instructor.
• 10:00am: Race starts
• A cooldown and awards ceremony will be held immediately following the race.
